Chimney Seal (Chimney Damper) is designed to block air from entering a chimney and prevents warm air from leaving the home in cold climates.

It also prevents hot air from entering and furthermore it retains the cooler air in warm climates. Chimney Seal also reduces noise disturbances and stops debris from falling down the chimney too.

Can be installed and removed very easily.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How Does Chimney Seal Help?

Chimneys used with open fireplaces are designed to extract air from the house, whether or not a fire is burning. This means that your chimney can let a lot of air in and out of your home. Blocking the chimney when it isn’t being used will reduce the movement of air up and down your chimney and improve the comfort of your home.

How quickly can the Chimney Seal be installed?

Installation is described as quick and by professionals for standard chimneys — minimizing disruption to your home.

Will the Chimney Seal reduce my energy bills?

Yes — by preventing unwanted air flow through the chimney when unused, it helps retain conditioned air and can contribute to lower heating/cooling usage.
